Community Program of the Year
Presented to a USTA/Mid-Atlantic Section person, place or program that best demonstrates outstanding execution of a team event or programs.
Facility of the Year
Presented to the tennis facility that made the greatest impact in the community during the past year through programming, events and partnerships.
Family of the Year
Presented to a family that resides in the USTA/Mid-Atlantic Section that has been outstanding in its promotion of tennis and demonstrates a true love of the game. The Mid-Atlantic winner is submitted for USTA National award consideration.
High School Coach of the Year (No-Cut)
Awarded to the coach who rosters all players that try out for the tennis team. This coach gives every interested player a positive experience that will encourage them to participate in tennis after high school.
Junior Sportsmanship (Female) & Junior Sportsmanship (Male)
Presented to the individual whose court conduct demonstrates a positive role model for other players to follow. Must be 18 years or younger.
League Coordinator of the Year Award
Presented to a USTA/Mid-Atlantic Section individual who has been outstanding in the coordination of league play at the local level and has developed growth and participation.
Lifetime Service Award
This award is to honor an individual or group for their longstanding dedication and commitment to the game of tennis.
Military Tennis Award
Presented to an individual, family or organization that provides tennis opportunities in the military community.
Official of the Year Award
Presented to a tennis official who has made outstanding contributions to the cause of tennis officiating in the USTA Mid-Atlantic Section.
Outstanding Media/Press Award
Organization or individual active in the print, television, radio or Web site media, who promotes the growth of tennis.
Parks and Recreation of the Year
Presented to a member organization/agency committed to growing and improving tennis programs and infrastructure in the community.
Section Organization of the Year Award
Presented to a member organization in the USTA Mid-Atlantic Section to recognize outstanding service to the local community, to the organization members, and to the game of tennis. The Mid-Atlantic winner is then submitted for USTA National award consideration.
Teaching Professional of the Year
Presented to a tennis professional in the USTA/Mid-Atlantic Section who demonstrates a significant contribution to the game of tennis through their promotion of the USTA Tennis Programs and their support of the USTA Mission.
Tournament of the Year Award
Presented to a USTA sanctioned tournament in the Mid-Atlantic Section that has best demonstrated the high standards upheld by the USTA in organizing and conducting its event.
Volunteer of the Year
Presented to an individual who volunteers at the section level either on committees, programs or events to promote the growth of tennis.
Jr. Team Tennis Coordinator of the Year Award (Not accepting nominations)
