In Delray Beach, Fla., Elizabeth Scotty reached the QF of Girls' 12 singles before losing to the #1 seed. In Boys' 12 doubles, Matthew Fenty and Indiana partner M. Wild took 4th place.
On the West Coast in Rancho Mirage, Calif., Victoria Olivarez reached the Rd of 16 in the main draw and then the semi-finals of consolation in the Girls' 16 singles. Ndindi Ndunda made the finals of the Girls' 16s consolation but had to withdraw due to injury. A Gold Ball was the reward for Brian Tsao of Sparks Glencoe, Md., with his partner Will Blumberg of Connecticut. They won the Boys' 14 doubles, defeating the #1 seed in 3 sets. Virginia Beach's Shannon Hudson and partner Olivia Sneed of Kansas captured the Silver Ball for 2nd place in Girls' 16 doubles. Along the way, they also eliminated another Mid-Atlantic team of Sophie Chang/Caroline Lampl who reached the Rd of 16, before falling to Hudson/Sneed in 3 sets. In the bottom half of the draw, Anna Fuhr and Elizabeth Stewart reached the Round of 32 and Ndindi Ndunda made the Rd of 16.
In the ITF Easter Bowl, Luca Corintelli reached the Round of 16 in singles and the semi-finals of doubles with partner Stefan Kozlov.
