Culpeper Sport and Racquet Club in Virginia will be hosting a High School Coaches Workshop, Sunday, February 19 from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. George Christoforatos of the Virginia High School Coaches Association has organized the workshop. Tiafoe beats Mmoh in all-American boys' final at AEGON Junior International


Francis Tiafoe, a 13-year-old from College Park, Md., beat Michael Mmoh, a 14-year-old from Bradenton, Fla., in an All-American boys’ singles final on Friday at the AEGON Junior International in Bolton, England, the first of two premier international junior tournaments for players ages 14 and under being held in Europe this month. CTCs Rock Mid-Atlantic

Seven USTA/Mid-Atlantic Competitive Training Centers (CTCs) are rocking with activity! Three established CTCs at Green Spring Racquet Club (MD), Southeast Tennis and Learning Center (DC), Raintree (VA) have been joined by four new sites: Newport News/VA Beach; Charlottesville, VA; Mount Vernon Racquet Club in Alexandria; and Blacksburg/Lynchburg/Roanoke. RTA Presents 2011 Junior Awards

The best gifts aren’t always wrapped, and several local junior players will likely attest to that as they gathered tonight for the presentation of their awards from the Richmond Tennis Association (RTA). The organization held an informal awards reception for the players who had been informed of their selection just before Thanksgiving.
