2011 Tri-Level Section Championships


The 2011 Tri-Level Sectional Championships were held at the recently renovated Virginia Beach Tennis & Country Club, January 20–22. Five teams were crowned champions. Read More
 

Important Changes Coming to Tri-Level

For the past three years, our Section has held tri-level leagues, followed each January by Mid-Atlantic Tri-Level Sectional Championships. The winning men’s and women’s teams at the 3.5/4.0/4.5 levels advance to the BNP Paribas Open Tri-Level Championships. There have been numerous requests for these leagues to also include players at the 3.0 level. As a result, BNP Paribas has announced that commencing with the 2013 Championships; they will no longer be holding tri-level championships, but holding quad-level championships, to include the 3.0 level. 2011 USTA League National Championships

2011 was another successful year for Mid-Atlantic’s USTA League teams. Four Mid-Atlantic teams captured National Championships this fall and another eight teams placed in the top four. Our women’s teams did especially well, accounting for seven of the twelve teams. Congratulations to all of our teams! Read More
