USTA Jr. Team Tennis

USTA Jr. Team Tennis is the largest junior recreational league in the USA and is often referred to as the Little League of tennis. The Jr. Team Tennis program brings kids of the same skill level together on teams to play singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other teams. The program promotes social skills and important values by fostering a spirit of cooperation and teamwork, as well as promoting individual self-growth. USTA Jr. Team Tennis is designed for kids ages 6-18 and they are immediately placed on teams that match their age and skill level. The USTA Jr. Team Tennis program offers play opportunities year round through local season play and for a Championship eligible team, a post season Championship series culminating in a potential National Championship appearance. USTA Jr. Team Tennis is also a flexible program and as a result, matches can be held anywhere from a local park or school to a commercial or private club. Teams are preferably co-ed but can also be single gender (boys or girls only).  USTA Jr. Team Tennis offers three play levels-Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced in each of the following age groups: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U & 18U.

COSTS: The costs to participate can vary by local market. Minimum fees include costs for the official uniform, USTA membership plus nominal shipping and processing fees.

TENNISLINK: All players have access to TennisLink, the USTA’s online player registration system.  TennisLink allows registered players to keep track of their records and stats, as well as scout their competition.  Whether on the court or online, USTA Jr. Team Tennis builds a passion for a sport kids will be able to play for life.
