USTA/MAS is coordinating a Jr. Team Tennis (JTT) Invitational on March 3-4, 2012 at the University of Mary Washington and we'd like to invite you and your players to participate. If you have players that wanted to experience JTT but couldn’t commit to a 4-6 week program, here is their chance!

*By winning the invitational teams will get a wildcard to their districts on July 20.
The invitational will be a one day event so that teams do not have to commit to the whole weekend. JTT is a co-ed sport and a team must consist of at least 3 boys and at least 3 girls. All players on team must play in at least 3 matches to be eligible to advance. Any player with 350 or more MAS points as of Aug. 31, 2011 must play in advanced division.
Some details are below. Draws will be limited to the first eight entries in each age division. So don’t delay!

Format: One day-round robin – 1 boys singles and 1 girls singles & 1 boys doubles and 1 girls doubles, 1 mixed doubles - six game pro sets with a tie breaker at 5 all
JTT division: 10 Intermediate(non-gender specific only 4 players needed), 10 and under advanced, 12 Intermediate, 12 advanced, 14 Intermediate, 14 Advanced, 18 Intermediateand 18 Advanced
Advancement: Top team in each division will get a wild card to their respective state districts on July 20-21.Players receive L4 points at Districts. The top two teams at districts will advance to the USTA Mid-Atlantic Section Championship on August 10-12 at the Tennis Center at College Park (College Park, MD). Players receive L3 points at Sectionals.
14 & 18 Intermediate teams that win Sectionals advance to the National JTT Championship Oct 26-28 in Cayce, SC.
