Remember how much fun it was to be part of a team when you were a kid? If you're looking to be a team player and have some fun, USTA League Tennis is for you!
What is it?
USTA League Tennis is the country’s largest recreational tennis league, helping more than 295,000 players nationwide get on the court, have a good time, and step up their game.
The League is organized as competitive team match play. Teams are made up of a minimum of five to eight players depending upon division.
Teams and matches are set up according to NTRP ratings, so your teammates and opponents will be at your skill level. The competition is exciting, the atmosphere is social, and since players compete on teams, you have a built-in cheering section.

USTA League Tennis is for women and men age 19 and older of all abilities and experience. Whether you’re new to the game or a former college player, there’s a spot for you!
How does it work?
Teams compete in three national divisions: Adult, Senior, and Mixed Doubles. The format features singles and doubles matches for adult leagues, and three doubles matches for seniors and mixed leagues. Other league opportunities include Super Senior Doubles (age 60 and over), Mixed Senior (age 50 and over) and Combo Doubles, where the combines NTRP ratings of the doubles determine participation.
How competitive is it?
Do you have the desire to compete on a national level? USTA league is the only adult recreational tennis program in the country with a national championship. If you want to play regularly, improve your game, or simply meet new people, USTA League can take you there too. Make it your league. Play as hard as you want.
